New in Polaris · Training
Standing in the gym with no plan? Ask Coach. It already knows what you've lifted for weeks, your goal and how you slept, so it builds today's workout from your own history, checks it before you see it, and saves it in Training, ready to start.
Invite-only. We review each request. No auto-approve.

“If the app had that, I would pay for it.”
He was in the gym, out of ideas, and Coach already knew his past days, weeks and months. Two days later it was live.
Live in Polaris on the web, and in the iPhone app from its next build. Three things, all in Coach chat.
Say "I'm out of ideas, what should I do today?" Coach reads the sets you've logged in Training, your goal, how you slept and what's still recovering, and writes today's session: exercises, sets, reps and your own loads. Tell it "20 minutes, dumbbells only" or "for Saturday" and that lands in the build too.
Every workout is checked in code against written, evidence-graded programming rules: sets that stop short of failure, rest that matches the lift, no hard sets on a muscle you trained hard yesterday, weekly volume inside the range for your goal. A workout that breaks a rule never reaches you.
Say "I want to run a 5K in three months" and Coach lays out the weeks around your strength days, behind one confirm. Too short a runway and it says so. Ask "What am I neglecting?" and it ranks the muscles you've been missing, then builds toward the gap.
Your loads come only from what you've actually lifted in the last eight weeks. A lift you've never logged gets reps and an effort cue, never a made-up weight. And nothing is saved until you confirm.

One ask, one reply: the workout with sets, reps and Sam's own loads, then the card. Nothing is saved until he confirms.

After one confirm, the workout sits at the top of Sam's list, marked as Coach's, with his own loads already filled in.
Sam is fictional, and so are his numbers. Everything under "today" works in Polaris now.
A short film of Coach building a workout on the spot, with Sam, a fictional member.
Film · coming soonCoach that builds for you on the spot is the first step. The next ones, in the order we're building them:
"The squat rack's taken." "My shoulder hurts today." "Cut it to 20 minutes." Mid-workout, Coach edits the session behind one confirm, and a swap keeps the same muscle without carrying a load across equipment.
Ask twice and Coach offers the morning's workout back. Workouts you never started tidy themselves away, and "clean up my workouts" proposes merges you confirm.
One tap after each exercise: easy, a couple left, nothing left. The next step up waits for it, and an easier day cuts sets, not weight.
A Coach-built block of three to six weeks that progresses, and eases off, on evidence rather than a calendar.
Anything else? Just ask Coach.
Who it's for
You have a goal you're serious about, whether you're starting over or already training. You may have a full plan, a partial plan, or simply a clear place to start. You want help turning the whole picture into consistent action.
Who it's not
Tell us who you are, what you're working toward, and that you're okay with a short TestFlight setup.
Is Alpha really free?
Yes. Free for as long as Alpha runs.
No card, no trial that turns into a bill. You can stop or delete your account any time.
Why free? You're early. Polaris is still being built, and your feedback shapes what it becomes. You get Coach first; we get honest answers. That's the whole deal.
What comes next: every Alpha member moves into the Beta. Polaris will be paid eventually, likely around $29.99 a month, with founding-member pricing for early members. You'll never be charged unless you choose to sign up.
Alpha requirement
Alpha runs on iPhone, with Apple Health syncing through the Polaris app.
A few extra steps while we're in TestFlight. The app walks you through Apple Health once you're accepted, and the Polaris app is required for this Alpha cohort. Request Alpha access to get started.
